Marco Gambacciani MD

Dr. Gambacciani, President of the Italian Menopause Society, graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1978 and a Specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 1982. Until 1986 he worked at the Department of Reproductive Endocrinology, University of California, San Diego, where he earned his specialization in Reproductive Endocrinology. Since 1987 he has worked in the Operative Unit of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the University of the Pisan University Hospital. He is in charge of the Menopause Center, which over the years has become a point of reference on the national and international scene. He developed vaginal surgery, as well as minimally invasive laparoscopic and resectoscopic surgery for minimally invasive interventions. He visited important gynecological surgery centers the improvement of the most modern surgical techniques.
