The Northern California Society for Clinical Gastroenterology (NCSCG) is pleased to announce the NCSCG GI Symposium being held on Jul 13, 2019 at InterContinental San Francisco, San Francisco, California, United States of America.

The symposium will provide a unique opportunity to receive a comprehensive update on gastrointestinal diseases from nationally renowned faculty. The educational lectures at this symposium will focus on the important advances presented at the annual Digestive Disease Week (DDW) meeting and in recent publications. You will also have ample opportunity to interact with your colleagues, our expert faculty members, and industry representatives.

Target Audience:
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners involved in the care of patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

Statement of Need:
The goal of this program is to provide important clinical and scientific data on the management of gastrointestinal disorders.

Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be better able to:
• Describe current guidelines for the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders
• Employ an evidence-based approach to the management of gastrointestinal disorders
• Identify new advances presented at DDW 2019 and assess their potential impact on clinical practice

Credit Designation:
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the New Mexico Medical Society (NMMS) through the joint providership of the Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services (RMCHCS) and the Northern California Society for Clinical Gastroenterology. RMCHCS is accredited by NMMS to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

RMCHCS designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) ™. Physicians should claim only the credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MOC Designation:
Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 5.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.
