Erick P. Chan MD

Erick Chan, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist in practice at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, with a focus on hepatology. Dr. Chan graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed internal medicine, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology training at the University of Pennsylvania. He is Chief of the Gastroenterology Department in Palo Alto and serves on the Board of Directors of the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group. He has led process improvements focused on quality, value, and the patient experience, and remains active in clinical research. Dr. Chan previously served on the Practice Management and Economics Committee of the AGA.
