North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS) 22nd Annual Meeting is organized by North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS) and will be held from Jan 17 - 20, 2019 at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 26.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
The agenda includes our popular Neuromodulation for Advanced Implantable Therapies: A Hands-On Cadaver Course for Neurosurgery Residents and Pain Fellows, combining didactic lectures and hands-on training. This year’s offerings also include the Neurology Neuromodulation Workshop, the Hands-On Cadaver Course for Engineers, and the Building a Neuromodulation Practice: Brain to Pain, Approvals, Financials, and Cases Workshop.
There will be two separate Certificate of Attendance courses. The Certificate of Attendance: Advanced Neuraxial Neuromodulation course will focus on the evidence-based and appropriate utilization of implantable therapies for pain management, and the Certificate of Attendance: Peripheral Nerve Stimulation course will provide evidence-based and expert-driven instruction on peripheral nerve stimulation. There also is a full-day course to review the principles of intrathecal therapy management titled, “Simplifying IT Therapy: A Solution to the Opioid Crisis.” Once again, the Continuum of Care from Wearables to Noninvasive Neuromodulation course will be offered, which will include theoretical and hands-on practical training on the use of noninvasive neuromodulation.
The theme of the NANS 22nd Annual Meeting is “The Science Behind Successful Outcomes.” In order for healthcare professionals to harness neuromodulation’s rapid growth for their patients and to expand the appropriate use of neuromodulation therapies, not only for the treatment of pain but for other medical conditions, a detailed understanding of current literature and data sources is required.
Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
