Conference Overview :
The inaugural Palliative Radiation Oncology Symposium will be a one-day conference for all healthcare providers caring for advanced cancer patients, particularly in radiation oncology, medical oncology, and palliative medicine. The conference's purpose will be to highlight the latest evidence-based advances in the field relevant to the care of advanced cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy.

Conference Objectives are :
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Describe recent innovations in the multidisciplinary management of advanced cancer patients.
• Describe the rationale and indications for palliative radiation and immunotherapy for patients with metastatic lesions.
• Discuss challenging cases in palliative radiation including the selection and appropriate management of patients requiring re-irradiation.
• Identify methods for reducing RT-induced treatment burdens among patients receiving palliative radiation.
