2nd Annual Mount Sinai Live Endoscopy Course: Advanced Endoscopic Approaches in the Management of Complex Gastrointestinal Disorders is organized by Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) and will be held on May 04, 2018 at Leon and Norma Hess Center for Science and Medicine, New York City, New York, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is gastroenterologists, gastrointestinal endoscopists and surgeons, GI fellows, and GI nurses and associates. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 7.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conference Overview :
The purpose of this Course is to provide a state-of-the-art update on new developments in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy in the management of a variety of gastrointestinal diseases. This course will present new and innovative techniques that they can incorporate into their clinical practice in order to optimize patient care and improve clinical outcomes. Expert faculty will review and demonstrate basic and advanced endoscopic techniques through the use of didactic lectures, video case presentations, and live endoscopy in this one-day symposium.

Conference Objectives are :
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Describe the role and impact of endoscopy in the management of pancreatic and biliary diseases.
• Summarize the utility and efficacy of endoscopy in screening for neoplasms of the liver, pancreas, and colon.
• Demonstrate the role of endoscopy in the primary management of upper gastrointestinal disorders such as GERD and neuroendocrine tumors.
• Demonstrate the use of endoscopic therapy for the closure of acute perforations.
• Evaluate the role and impact of advanced endoscopic techniques in the management of small intestinal bleeding and colonic diseases such as large colon polyps, C.difficile infection, and malignant colon obstruction.
