• Update knowledge about and professional development of the NP role, including:

• Social determinants of health and health disparities
• Identify and manage problems during the childbearing years, including:
• Breastfeeding
• Preeclampsia
• Preventing alcohol-affected pregnancies
• Effectively implement pharmacologic therapy for health problems in women and in HIV prevention using PrEP intervention
