Global Engage are pleased to announce, as part of their Next Generation Sequencing series of events, the 3rd Plant Genomics Congress Asia, which will be held on 11-12 April 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The successful event, which was attended by over 200 people last year, is the sister meeting to the American meeting and the European Plant Genomics Congress which took place in London.
Attracting experts working in all areas of plant sciences including next generation sequencing, genomics, phenomics, proteomics, bioinformatics and data management, the conference will examine the latest NGS platforms and Omic technologies suitable for progressing plant based research.
The event focuses on aspects such as molecular marker development, breeding, crop/ trait improvement, disease/stress resistance, evolution studies and pathology as well understanding tools to overcome bottlenecks and enable successful data analysis and management.
Should you be either an expert already using NGS for plant analysis with a desire to extend your knowledge or for researchers keen to invest in sequencing / omic technology and looking to learn which platform suits your requirements - the conference will provide an interactive networking forum to answer your queries through a vibrant exhibition room full of technology providers showcasing their technologies and other solutions, expert led case study presentations and interactive QandA panel discussions examining topics through four separate tracks.
1. NGS / Omic Technologies for Plant Research
2. Plant Genomic Case Studies
3. Bioinformatics, Data Analysis and Management
4. Plant Genomic Case Studies
