Mahmood-ur-rahman Ansari PhD

Dr. Mahmood-ur-Rahman Ansari is an associate professor of Molecular Biology at the Department of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, GC University, Faisalabad, Pakistan. He received his BSc (Hons) in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan in 2003. He completed his PhD in Molecular Biology from the National Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology, Lahore, Pakistan in 2011. Dr. Ansari has published over 60 papers in international peer-reviewed journals in the field of molecular biology, biotechnology, and bioinformatics. Moreover, he has published more than 12 book chapters and edited 4 books so far. His research group is involved in understanding the molecular mechanisms of stress tolerance in plants.
