Peter Gresshoff PhD

Professor Gresshoff is a developmental plant geneticist with a deep interest in symbiotic nitrogen fixation of legumes. He holds the Chair of Botany at the University of Queensland, is Professor of Plant Genetics in the School of Agriculture and Food Science (SAFS, Faculty of Science, UQ), and is an Affiliate of QAAFI (UQ). Since 2003 he is the Director of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Integrative Legume Research. He is a Fellow of AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science), the Russian Academy of Agricultural Science, and the Indian National Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

He is member of the editorial boards of several international journals (MOLECULAR PLANT, BMC Plant Genetics, BioTechniques, and J. Plant Physiology).
