Bill Beninati is a critical care/pulmonary physician at the Intermountain LDS Hospital and chairman of the Intermountain Critical Care Development Team. His major focus is on the delivery of high-reliability critical care using tools to include protocols, ultrasound, and simulation. He has earned a certificate of completion for critical care ultrasound from the American College of Chest Physicians.
Bill is a 25 year veteran of the US Air Force where his career focus was on air transport of critical casualties. His deployment experience includes a rotation in Iraq and air transport experience in Bosnia and Afghanistan. He graduated from the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine in 1988 and completed training in internal medicine and pulmonary/critical care at Wilford Hall Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in sleep disorders at Mayo Clinic Rochester. Dr. Beninati is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care, and sleep disorders.
