Viviane Khoury, MD, specializes in all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging, including MRI, CT, US, and image-guided procedures. She earned her medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and went on to complete an internship in internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Khoury completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada followed by a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship with Dr. Donald Resnick at the University of California San Diego Medical Center.
Dr. Khoury was recruited by the University of Pennsylvania in 2011 to establish a new Musculoskeletal Ultrasound service, which focuses on the US diagnosis and treatment of tendon, muscle, and joint disorders. Dr. Khoury directs the annual RSNA Ultrasound course and workshop on Dynamic Musculoskeletal US, and has participated in numerous musculoskeletal US courses and workshops throughout the country and internationally. Dr. Khoury is also a frequent speaker at numerous annual academic and CME meetings, including at the International Skeletal Society, the Society of Skeletal Radiology, the Canadian Association of Radiology, and the Mexican Society of Radiology.
