Conference Description :
This year's course will include lectures related to challenging cases and diagnostic pitfalls. Speakers will discuss advanced techniques as well as offer practical tips and share imaging protocols to enhance image acquisition and interpretation skills. The program will cover topics in musculoskeletal, neuro, thoracic, and body imaging. Additionally, the speakers will emphasize indications for complimentary use of different imaging modalities. SAM credits will be offered throughout the week.
Conference Objectives are :
• Effectively utilize the US in the evaluation of thyroid nodules and diffuse thyroid disease
• Apply the updated guidelines for recommending fine-needle aspiration, molecular testing, and follow up imaging of thyroid nodules
• Describe the specific characteristics of the pleural disease and focal pulmonary lesions
• Identify complications of surgical intervention and trauma to the thoracic cavity
• Describe the MR appearance of abnormalities in the pancreas, adrenal gland, and kidneys
• Utilize the LI-RADS reporting system of hepatocellular carcinoma
• Describe the MR appearance of shoulder, elbow, spine, and skeletal muscle pathology and injuries
• Identify and describe the imaging appearance of pathologic conditions affecting the sinuses, larynx, salivary glands, and sellar region
