Dr. S. S. Vasan holds an MBBS degree, along with DNB (General Surgery) and DNB (Urology). He has completed a Fellowship in Andrology & Incontinence from Singapore and is a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons (FICS). Additionally, he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital and Healthcare Management (PGDHHM).

Dr. Vasan S S has been recognized for his contributions in the field of urology with numerous awards, including First Prize at the National Conference on Molecular Medicine and Nanobiotechnology (2010, NIMHANS, Bangalore) for a co-authored poster on biomarker identification. Innovation Award in Urology for developing an ultrasound-based detection protocol for obstructive azoospermia (2000, Karnataka Urology Conference). Original Innovation Award for pioneering surgeon-assisted robotic prostatectomy (1996, International College of Surgeons Meeting, Kandy).

Dr. Vasan S S has contributed extensively to the field of urology and andrology through numerous publications, including a review article on Andropause in the Indian Journal of Urology. Guest editor for a symposium on Erectile Dysfunction. Clinical safety profile of Sildenafil in Singaporean men with erectile dysfunction, published in the Journal of International Medical Research. Research contributions in prestigious journals like Reproductive Biology, International Journal of Impotence Research, and the International Journal of Andrology.
