Travis Henry, MD is an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology in the Cardiac and Pulmonary section in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco. He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee in 2005. He received his radiology residency training, followed by a fellowship in cardiothoracic radiology, at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, which he completed in 2011. Prior to joining UCSF, Dr. Henry was an assistant professor of radiology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He also served as an assistant program director for the radiology residency, and as the director of the 3D imaging laboratory during his tenure at Emory.
Dr. Henry is primarily focused on clinical and educational research in multiple aspects of cardiothoracic and vascular imaging, which reflects his breadth of experience and ability to collaborate with multiple colleagues including pulmonologists, cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons. He is active in many radiology societies including the American Board of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, American College of Radiology, and Radiologic Society of North America, and serves as a panelist on the Society of Thoracic Radiology weekly case webinar.
