OVERVIEW

UCSF Practical Body Imaging at Yosemite is organized by The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Office of Continuing Medical Education and will be held during May 20 - 25, 2018 at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, Mariposa, California, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is both the general and sub-specialty radiologist and is intended to provide an update of recent advances in relevant topics in breast, abdominal, thoracic, musculoskeletal and neuroimaging.This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 26.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Outline:

The presentations will focus on practical methods to optimize basic and advanced cross-sectional techniques for CT, MRI, Ultrasound and plain film, as well as how to recognize and avoid potential pitfalls in interpretation. Speakers will also discuss more advanced and emerging/evolving topics and technologies including multi-modality imaging of the breast, abdominal imaging techniques, and interventional procedures.

Course Objectives are :

• Discuss the diagnostic approach to the incidental pulmonary nodule.
• Understand the LI-RADS classification and significance for the treatment of HCC.
• Recognize spectrum of findings in the abdomen after ablation procedures.
• Review the normal appearance of the larynx and nasopharynx.
• Recognize normal anatomy and common pathological conditions in the shoulder, knee, and wrist.
• Improve understanding of expected postoperative findings in the abdomen after commonly performed GI surgeries.
• Apply recent advances in Breast MRI and understand the proper application of the BI-RADS lexicon to MR.
