UCSF Imaging Update in Las Vegas is organized by The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Office of Continuing Medical Education and will be held from Sep 28 - 30, 2018 at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is practicing clinical radiologists in both general and subspecialty practice, as well as those working in an academic environment, to review and address important topics in brain, spine, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, pulmonary, oncologic, vascular and ob-gyn imaging. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 16 CME Credits.

Course Description:
The focus of this course will be on practical applications of body, cardiothoracic, and neuroimaging, with a focus on recent updates to guidelines (i.e. PI-RADS, TI-RADS, Fleischner Guidelines), and a review of commonly encountered diseases and their mimics. Highlights will include: updates on essential spinal disease and spinal cord-imaging, current updates on the management of thyroid nodules on ultrasound, an in-depth review of HRCT of the lung, a review of the updated Fleischner Guidelines for lung nodule management, the most recent version of PI-RADS, and management of common and incidental pancreatic and adrenal masses.

Course Objectives:
• Differentiate various abnormalities of the abdomen & pelvis using CT, MRI and Ultrasound.
• Recognize typical and atypical appearances of lung cancer.
• Describe the proper management of renal carcinomas.
• Evaluate the adnexa and uterus in patients with abdominal pain and other symptoms.
• Utilize ultrasound to assess thyroid nodules.
• Recognize normal and abnormal appearances after bariatric surgery.
• Interpret musculoskeletal ultrasound.
• Differentiate brain tumors from tumor mimics.
