Thomas A. Viola RPh, CCP

Thomas Viola, R.Ph., C.C.P., is a board-certified pharmacist who also serves the professions of dentistry as a clinical educator, professional speaker, and published author, in the areas of oral pharmacology and local anesthesia.

Tom received his pharmacy degree from St. John’s University in New York and specializes in the medication therapy management of high-risk pediatric and geriatric patient populations.

As a clinical educator, Tom is a member of the faculty of ten dental professional degree programs and has received several awards for an outstanding teacher of the year. In addition, Tom has instructed hundreds of practicing dental hygienists in local anesthesia certification courses and he has received both the Pennsylvania and New York State Dental Hygienists' Association Awards for outstanding contributions to the advancement of the profession.
