Teri Dulong-Rae, MSHA, serves as the Program Manager for Palliative Care at Virginia Commonwealth University, providing program support and faculty assistance to the Division of Hematology, Oncology, and Palliative Care. She completed her Master of Science in Health Administration at VCU in 2024. She has worked with the palliative care program for over 12 years, focusing on fiscal administration, grant funding proposals and management, IT implementation and improvement efforts, and education initiatives like Project ECHO, Palliative Care Leadership Center training, and the Virginia Initiative for Palliative Care observer program. Since late 2023, her effort has been committed to patient educational content development and provider curriculum coordination for the Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center’s grant from the Virginia Opioid Abatement Authority to reduce opioid-related risks in patients with cancer.
