Susan B. LeGrand, MD, FACP, FAAHPM, pursued her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina, and graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1983. She then went on to complete her internship and serve her residency at the University of Texas Affiliated Hospitals. Fellowship-trained in medical oncology at The University of Arizona Cancer Center in Tucson, Arizona.

Dr. LeGrand is also board certified in medical oncology, internal medicine, and hospice and palliative care by the American Board of Internal Medicine. An active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer, the American Psychosocial Oncology Society, and the International Psycho-Oncology Society.

Dr. LeGrand likes to keep up-to-date with the latest developments, guidelines, and procedures in her field.
