Dr. Steven Chow is a graduate of Stanford University, where he received a Bachelor of Science, before continuing his education at the University of Minnesota, where he received a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Chow completed his Medical Degree from the same prestigious institution as well as a dermatology residency. He completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery with Dr. Richard Bennett in Santa Monica, California. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Keck School of Medicine of USC. As a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, he is highly trained and experienced in the surgical removal of all types of skin cancers.

Dr. Chow performs hundreds of Mohs surgical procedures every year, including removal of cancers and repair in cosmetically sensitive areas like the eyelids, nose, lips, and ears. He is board certified in dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and American College of Mohs Surgery.

In addition to being recognized as a leading dermatologic surgeon in the community, Dr. Chow has numerous publications in the scientific literature and is a frequent speaker at international medical meetings. He continues to teach residents and medical students at Keck School of Medicine of USC, where he was awarded the Surgical Teaching Award by the Department of Dermatology.
