Sneha Baxi Srivastava is an Associate Professor at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science - College of Pharmacy. She is a part of the Pharmacy Skills team, coordinating and facilitating students in the curriculum where there is a required skills-based course in every quarter from P1 through P3 year. She received her PharmD degree at Rutgers University School of Pharmacy and completed her two years of post-graduate training in Primary Care at the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy. She also is board certified in ambulatory care (BCACP) and a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).
br/> She is passionate about education, communication, and prevention/management of chronic conditions, especially diabetes. She believes in the continuous cycle of teaching and learning. She empowers patients and students - ensuring the connection between optimal medication education, the importance of communication skills, and the understanding and application health and education behavior theories are always present.
br/> She has co-authored a textbook titled Fundamental Skills for Patient Care in Pharmacy Practice and actively participates in various state and national pharmacy organizations, including the Illinois Pharmacists Association, IL Coordinating Body of American Association of Diabetes Educators, American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and American Pharmacist's Organization.
