Sarat Thikkurissy DDS, MS

Dr. S. Thikkurissy is professor and director of the Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. He obtained his DDS from New York University and his certificate in pediatric dentistry as well as a master’s degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and Nationwide Children's Hospital.

He also completed the program in advanced education in general dentistry at Wright Patterson and was in active duty in the U.S. Air Force for eight years as chief of pediatric dentistry at Ramstein AFB in Germany. He was director of the predoctoral program in pediatric dentistry at The Ohio State University from 2006-2011 and director of Inpatient Dental Services at Nationwide Children's Hospital from 2010-2013. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has published in the area of morbidities, quality of life, and pain management in children.
