Dr. Rob Arntfield is Director of Critical Care Ultrasound at Western University. As a clinician-educator, he is a course director for the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) critical care ultrasonography program and teaches and lectures on point of care ultrasound throughout North America.

He completed a point of care ultrasound fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York where, in his capacity as an attending physician, he received the Attending of the Year Award by the Mount Sinai emergency medicine residents. In addition to being a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Dr. Arntfield is an adult echocardiography diplomate with the National Board of Echocardiography. Dr. Arntfield can discuss any ultrasound topic, but his special interests include resuscitative ultrasound, critical care ultrasound, and applications of TEE in critical illness and cardiac arrest.
