Critical Care Echocardiography

Designed for frontline intensivists, this 2-day course will focus on image acquisition and interpretation skills required to guide the management of patients with cardiopulmonary failure in the ICU. Expert CHEST faculty will provide comprehensive training in image acquisition and interpretation using an integrated, hands-on approach to learning bedside echocardiography.

For novice sonographers, this course will focus on the integration of bedside echocardiography into your ICU practice. Lectures will supplement pre-course reading to give you a strong cognitive understanding of basic bedside echocardiography. Extensive hands-on practice with faculty experts will enhance your technical skills.

For Certification of Completion learners or learners with previous experience with echocardiography, this course will offer extensive hands-on training with expert faculty in order to strengthen and focus your skill in image acquisition and interpretation. Structured repetition and challenges introduced by our expert CHEST faculty will be instrumental on your path to achieving competency.
