Dr. Ramirez is responsible for system-level transformation and performance improvement for a wide range of Kettering Health Network initiatives involving quality, patient safety, risk management and utilization. Most recent initiatives include establishing and integrating a Physician Advisor program.

As an experienced physician executive, Dr. Ramirez engages health care providers to transform the quality of patient care. Improvement initiatives are undertaken with a focus on the patient and a philosophy of the importance of teamwork and relationship building. Sustained innovation and transition occur with engagement of a wide range of stakeholders, the use of Lean principles and data driven decision making.
