Heart Failure Module-1: Prevalence and Prevention is organized by RnCeus Interactive and will be held from Jun 27, 2018 - Jun 13, 2022.

The target audience for this medical event is designed for nurses who may accept the responsibility for monitoring or managing patients with heart failure or those at risk for heart failure. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 3 contact hours

Course Objectives:
• Describe the prevalence of heart failure.
• Compare the three classification systems for HF.
• Describe risk factors that predispose patients to HF.
• Discuss the Renal Angiotensin Aldosterone System as a target for pharmacologic intervention.
• Discuss pharmacologic and interventional strategies used to manage the effects of cardiac remodeling caused by hypertension, atherosclerosis, asymptomatic valve disease, substance abuse, etc.
• Contrast the effects of concentric remodeling with eccentric remodeling.
