Protima Amon PhD

Dr. Protima Amon (Blizard) completed a medical degree at Imperial College and graduated in 2002. Amon's interest in medicine stemmed from a very young age; encouraged by Amon's parents who taught me that anything was possible! They instilled in me the principles of hard work, honesty, and a determination to succeed.

Protima Amon's early pediatric training was at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London, where Protima Amon achieved Membership in the Royal College of Paediatrics in 2006. Protima Amon was also appointed to the Higher Specialist Training Programme in Paediatric Gastroenterology in The London Deanery. Protima Amon completed my specialist training in 2014 and took up Amon's current post as a CRF in the Centre of Immunobiology at the Blizard.
