Patricia Udaondo Mirete MD

Patricia is the co-founding director and head of the retina division of Aiken Ophthalmological Clinic in Valencia, and is on staff in the medical-surgical retina division at University and Polytechnic Hospital La Fe, Valencia (Spain). She has been Professor of Ophthalmic Nursing and worked as an Associate Professor at the University CEU Cardenal Herrera Oria. She received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University Miguel Hernández de Elche, Spain and received the highest honors from the Hospital General Universitario de Valencia, where she specialized in ophthalmology.
She has been an invited speaker at numerous national and international conferences and has been both an author and reviewer for several notable ophthalmic journals. She remains dedicated to investigating methods to prevent or control the progression of various eye diseases, including macular degeneration, ocular vascular diseases, vitreo-retinal traction syndrome and the ocular manifestations of diabetes.
