Nicole M. Heimgartner, DNP, RN, COI, is currently an adjunct professor of nursing at Mercy College and has been a registered nurse since 2008; she holds a baccalaureate degree in nursing from Spalding University, a master's degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix, and a doctorate of nursing practice with an emphasis in educational leadership from American Sentinel University.
