Dr. Nichole Crenshaw is an Assistant Professor of Clinical and Director of the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies. She earned her BSN and MSN degrees from Florida International University and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Miami and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Crenshaw has over 20 years of professional clinical experience in acute care, specializing in the management of patients in the cardiothoracic and general surgical intensive care units. Dr. Crenshaw currently teaches in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program, including simulation and advanced clinical skills. Dr. Crenshaw has presented regionally, nationally and internationally on topics such as the role of the Acute Care Nurse Practitioners in the Intensive Care Units, antibiograms and antibiotics, multidrug-resistant organisms and the management of critically ill patients.
