Nancymarie Phillips, Ph.D., RN, RNFA, CNOR, is a retired professor of perioperative education for nurses and technologists. She is the author of several textbooks and articles and received the Lakeland Excellence in Teaching, the Association of perioperative Registered Nurses' Perioperative Clinical Educator and the Sigma Theta Tau Virginia Olsavsky Mentorship awards.
