Michael Sharland

Professor Sharland graduated from Kings College Hospital in 1979, earned his MD at the University of London in 1992 and DTM+H from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 1994. He joined St George's Hospital as a consultant in 1995.

He heads the pediatric infectious diseases service for south London and chairs a national network for children with HIV. He leads the pediatric infectious diseases unit at St George's Hospital, one of the national training centers in PID in the UK.
