Marc Kohli, MD, is the Director of Clinical Informatics, and an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology in the Abdominal Imaging section in Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco. He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2003. In 2004, he completed a one-year Transitional Residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by a four-year Diagnostic Radiology residency. In 2008, Dr. Kohli completed a one-year Abdominal Imaging and Informatics fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Radiology and Regenstrief Institute. Prior to coming to UCSF, Kohli was an Assistant Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where he was also Director of Quality and Safety, as well as the Director of Informatics.

Dr. Kohli provides service to four societies: the Radiologic Society of North America (RSNA), the Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM), the Society of Abdominal Radiology, and the American College of Radiology (ACR). At the RSNA, Dr. Kohli is the chair of the Education Exhibits for Informatics, as well as one of the Informatics Refresher Course Co-Chairs. Dr. Kohli is on the Board of Directors for SIIM, and is a member of the hackathon, eCommunity, and program committees. He chairs the Informatics Committee for the Society of Abdominal Radiology and he is the chief of the Technology and Apps work group for LI-RADS.
