Lawrence (larry) Michael Herman MPA, PA-C, DFAAPA

Lawrence (Larry) Herman recently joined the University of South Carolina as an Adjunct Professor and is President of Palantir Healthcare, LLC, in Boiling Springs, SC. He is a former college Dean and tenured professor having taught resident physicians, medical students, PA and NP students as well as in more than a dozen GME programs. He practiced in emergency medicine for nearly a decade where he was Chief PA in a busy New York City Level I trauma system.

Most recently, he practiced in family medicine and was the administrative medical director for a multi-specialty practice with administrative oversight for a staff of over 230 physicians and advanced practice providers. He has authored book chapters, articles, and been an invited speaker internationally and nationally. He recently completed a five-year term on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of PAs where he served as President and subsequently Chair of the Board of Directors.
