Laura Kathleen Frye MD

Frye received a BA from New York University, followed by an MD from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. While in medical school, she received the Student Award for Service to the Kansas City community and beyond and the Norge W. Jerome Preventive Medicine Excellence Award.

She then completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City and was honored with the Milton McGreevy Award for Excellence in Internal Medicine. She also completed pulmonary and critical care fellowships, as well as training in advanced lung disease, at the University of Pennsylvania. Most recently, she finished an interventional pulmonary fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. She is currently working as an associate professor at the University of Utah Health.
