Conference Description :
Learn new skills and refresh your knowledge through this hands-on, interactive course led by experts in bronchoscopy and procedure-related training. Attend and acquire essential and advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy techniques, including:
• Biopsy and Brushings
• Management of airway bleeding and aspirated foreign objects
• EBUS-guided TBNA
• EBUS-TBNA Specimen handling and processing
• Radial EBUS for peripheral nodules
The course is designed using the experiential learning model. Flipped classroom methodology will be used with online pre- and postcourse didactic materials to enhance knowledge gain and retention. The live event is focused on interactive, case-based discussions and hands-on sessions. Cognitive and technical skills assessments will be implemented to validate training.
Conference Objectives :
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:
• Demonstrate the placement of endobronchial blockers for airway bleeding.
• Utilize flexible bronchoscopic techniques for removal of aspirated foreign objects.
• Perform flexible bronchoscopy with brushings and endobronchial biopsy.
• Demonstrate EBUS-guided transbronchial needle aspiration for mediastinal and hilar lymph node sampling.
• Demonstrate EBUS-TBNA specimen handling and processing to ensure adequacy for diagnosis and molecular testing.
• Demonstrate the use of radial probe EBUS for localizing peripheral pulmonary nodules.
