Katy has been working as an occupational therapist since 1989, primarily helping adults with neuromotor dysfunction work toward functional independence. She is a Certified Hand Therapist and addresses impairments of the upper limb both from a neurologic as well as orthopedic point of view. She is an NDT Adult Occupational Therapy instructor and has taught or assisted in teaching over 20 classes nationally and internationally. As a lifetime learner, she has taken over 50 continuing education classes. She is intuitive and enjoys solving problems, and continues to challenge herself to be the best therapist possible. In her free time, she enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities in Alaska. In my free time, I enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities in Alaska. I have built a beautiful remote cabin in the mountains. I am also a soloist at church and in our community choir.
