Kathryn Ciccolini Hernandez MSN, AGACNP-BC, OCN, DNC

Kathryn Ciccolini Hernandez is a Nurse Practitioner and doctorate student specializing in oncodermatology, an emerging field ensuring optimal dermatologic service to oncology patients who receive conventional and investigational anti-cancer therapies.

She is the lead nurse in a supportive oncodermatology team preventing and managing dermatologic adverse events to anti-cancer therapy. She is a strong advocate for oncology nurses, as they play a key role in communicating with, assessing, educating, encouraging, and treating this special patient population.

Kathryn believes in organizational citizenship and is an active member of national and international professional organizations and hospital committees. She currently is enrolled in the Executive Doctorate of Nursing Practice program at Johns Hopkins University, and is an advisory member to Dermatology Nursing Association, Oncology Nursing Society, International Society of Cancer Care, and Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer.
