Jon Yan Zhou MD

Dr. Jon Zhou is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist and faculty in the Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at UC Davis Medical Center. He specializes in peri-operative general anesthesiology, OB anesthesiology, and regional anesthesia/acute pain medicine. Dr. Zhou has research interests in medical informatics, acute pain medicine, and regional anesthesia. He is committed to improving resident education and advancing the long term goals of UCDMC.

Dr. Zhou completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Basis of Behavior and Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania. He went to Jefferson Medical College for his medical school education and subsequently stayed to complete his residency in Anesthesiology at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He then came to UC Davis to complete his fellowship in pain medicine.
