Regional Anesthesia and Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Workshop is organized by UC Davis Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and will be held on Aug 24, 2019 at Embassy Suites by Hilton Sacramento Riverfront Promenade, Sacramento, California, United States of America.
Target Audience:
The course is designed for anesthesiologists and pain medicine physicians involved with the perioperative care of surgical patients.
Accreditation:
Physician Credit: The University of California, Davis, Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Objectives:
At the end of the program, participants should be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform:
• Ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks above the clavicle.
• Ultrasound-guided femoral nerve block.
• Ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks below the clavicle, pectoralis block and adductor canal block, and IPACK.
• Ultrasound-guided fascia Iliaca block, Ilioinguinal/Iliohypogastric block, lateral TAP block erector spinae and paravertebral block.
• Ultrasound-guided gastric, airway, IVC and lung exams.
