John C. Hobbins MD

John C. Hobbins, MD is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of Colorado Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and a former Professor and Chief of Obstetrics at Yale University. With over 30 years in academic medicine, Dr. Hobbins has been involved in clinical research that has spawned 443 papers in peer-reviewed journals. At Yale, he was involved as a principal investigator and co-investigator in NICHD MFMU Network projects, and at the University of Colorado, he was initially the point person for the Department's contribution to the First and Second Trimester Evaluation for Risk of aneuploidy (FaSTER) trial. Dr. Hobbin's clinical interests include prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR), and twins.
