The 20th Annual CU High-Risk Fetal Imaging & Perinatal Update Conference is organized by University of Colorado, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and will be held from Sep 29 - 30, 2023 at Children's Hospital Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, Aurora, Colorado, United States of America.
Objectives:
At the Completion of This Course, Attendees Will Be Able to:
• Learners should better understand how 3D ultrasound can be used to identify facial masses, fetal limb anomalies, fetal brain anomalies, and fetal spine anomalies.
• We will increase the current knowledge of cleft lip identification and how 2D and 3D ultrasound to identify cleft lip and palate.
• Learners will be able to identify the most common forms of skeletal dysplasia and key ultrasound characteristics that distinguish normal from lethal and non-lethal forms of dysplasia.
• Learners will be able to identify the most common types of abdominal wall defects, their associated anomalies, and necessary testing and follow-up after this lecture.
• Learners will be able to identify the three different types of placentation accurately and understand the most common disorders associated with each. This will allow more accurate diagnosis of TTTS and monoamniotic twin gestations.
• A combined lecture of US and MRI will show how these modalities complement each other, and how fetal anomalies identified on US will need different imaging follow-up. Learners will know the key intracranial imaging techniques to obtain.
• Learners will understand the proper technique to Doppler imaging in obstetric ultrasound. They will also know the appropriate indications for each type of Doppler assessment.
• Learners will better understand the fetal cardiac structures and echocardiography guidelines as well as the 9-views needed to identify a normal heart. They will also be able to recognize the most common anomalies seen in cardiac evaluation.
The full conference tuition is refundable, less a $50 processing fee, if your cancellation is processed by August 21, 2023. The $50 processing fee is nonrefundable regardless of the reason for cancellation. Refunds will not be granted after August 21, 2023 or for non-attendance.
