Nutrition, fitness, health, and wellness have been my lifelong passions and I have extensive experience in a number of roles in this field. I am a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), sports dietitian, Licensed Dietitian in the state of Texas, and an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer. I do freelancing writing on nutrition and health topics and I am a published author of nine books including: The 21-Day Healthy Smoothie Plan, The Diabetic Cookbook for Two, The Healthy Smoothie Recipe Book, The Alkaline Diet for Beginners, The Insulin Resistance Diet for PCOS, and The Heart Healthy Cookbook for Two with my latest book, DASH for Weight Loss set for publication in November 2019. I also provide individualized nutrition, lifestyle, and sports nutrition coaching through my consulting business. Additionally, I teach nutrition and sports nutrition online as an adjunct professor within the Maricopa Community College District and previously taught for Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts.
