Jeffrey A. Niezgoda MD, FACHM, MAPWCA, CHWS

Dr. Jeffrey Alan Niezgoda is the President, Chief Executive Officer and Corporate Medical Director of AZH, LLC, serving in this capacity as one of the founders of AZH in 2013. From 1998 until 2013 he served as the Medical Director of The Centers for Comprehensive Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Aurora Health Care, and St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the President and Chief Medical Officer of Hyperbaric & Wound Care Associates, a physician specialty group serving Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

Under Dr. Niezgoda’s leadership the Aurora program expanded from a single hospital care platform, St. Luke’s Medical Center, to providing hyperbaric and wound care services at 8 other acute care hospitals and 3 LTAC facilities. The program realized significant growth inpatient visit volumes, from less than 1500 annual visits in 1999 to a combined total volume of over 100,000 annual patient visits in 2012, and was then considered to be the largest Hyperbaric and Wound Care Clinic System in the country.
