Graham N. Smith BSc, MSc, DipPhys, FCSP, MSST, DipTP, CertED

Professor Graham N. Smith is Chairman of The Society of Sports Therapists and both Founder Member and major driving force behind the Society, since its inception in 1990. Graham has nurtured the Society through many stages of development, from the original concept and development, to setting up the first BSc(Hons) Degree programme in Sports Therapy in 1996 with the University of North London (now London Metropolitan University), to now overseeing and running a membership organisation that has collaborative agreements with nineteen universities and which accredits 29 Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.

Graham has an extensive background in the treatment, management, and rehabilitation of injuries at all levels of the sporting spectrum. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, a Visiting Professor at the University of Chichester and an external Lecturer for the MSc in Sports Medicine at Trinity College, Dublin.
