The Knee Explained - A Two Day Workshop for Physiotherapists is organized by National Centre of Rehabilitation Education (NCORE) and will be held during May 23 - 24, 2018 at London Road Community Hospital, Derby, England, United Kingdom. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 14.0 CPD Credits.

Course Aims
• To give delegates an understanding of the functional and regional anatomy of the knee complex.
• To identify common injuries and problems likely to be encountered in this frequently injured anatomical region and to highlight current trends and philosophies in the treatment and management of knee injuries.
• The course will further aim to give an understanding of the principles of rehabilitation and treatments for patients with knee injuries.
• The course will also clarify and determine the criteria for progressions from the acute/early phase through to the final functional predischarge stage of rehabilitation. Whilst specifically focused on orthopedic problems, the principles taught and demonstrated can be applied to all spheres of musculoskeletal practice, including rheumatology, pediatrics & sports injuries.
• The additional aims of this workshop are to provide delegates with the understanding, knowledge, ability, and expertise to apply safe and effective manual therapy and mobilization techniques to the joints of the knee complex.
• The workshop is predominately practical with sessions devoted to problem-solving and treatment/technique practice.
• Common clinical presentations, as well as the key elements of examination and assessment techniques for the anatomical areas described, will be included.
