Ezra Abraham Amsterdam MD

Dr. Ezra Amsterdam, MD is an Associate Chief in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of California Davis. Dr. Ezra Amsterdam specializes in the management of acute ischemic syndromes, identification and management of low-risk patients with chest pain (immediate treadmill testing, role of panic attack, GERD), post-myocardial infarction risk stratification and management, and prevention of coronary artery disease.

Dr. Amsterdam's research interests include Coronary artery disease, clinical pharmacology, noninvasive cardiac testing, exercise physiology, testing and training, women and heart disease, and evaluation of low-risk patients presenting to ED with chest pain.
