Dr. Dipti Gupta is a cardiologist with advanced training in multi-modality cardiac imaging (CT, MRI, echocardiography) and expertise in cardio-oncology. Her clinical and research efforts focus on the management of cardiovascular disease in cancer patients before, during, and after cancer treatment. She actively engages in multidisciplinary collaboration with other members of the cancer care team, which fosters comprehensive evaluation and careful risk-benefit discussions that result in an individualized care plan for every patient.
Additionally, she serves as the program director of the cardio-oncology clinical research fellowship, which provides an academically robust environment training the next generation of leaders in this field. Her specific areas of interest within cardio-oncology include checkpoint-inhibition-associated cardiovascular toxicity, cardiovascular complications of androgen deprivation therapy, and cardiovascular sequelae of clonal hematopoiesis.
