David M. Wilson, M.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in Residence in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Wilson received his M.D. and Ph.D. from Columbia University in New York, and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco in 2009, followed by a fellowship in Neuroradiology at UCSF in 2010.

Dr. Wilson’s research interest is the development of new molecular probes for brain and tumor imaging. He is mainly interested in molecular imaging approaches where structural and biochemical insight is required. Recently, Dr. Wilson’s research consist of the development of new agents for hyperpolarized 13C spectroscopy, and his goal is to identify positron emission tomography (PET) that correlates for imaging in animal models.
